Agreement and eligibility

By using CurbScoop, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use CurbScoop for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

What CurbScoop provides

CurbScoop organizes property, listing, market, and public-record information into owner dashboards, comparisons, alerts, and value context. Features and coverage may change as the service develops.

CurbScoop is not an appraisal, brokerage, valuation opinion, or legal, tax, investment, lending, or financial advice. Market and public-record data can be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or incorrect. Verify important information with the original source and an appropriate professional before making a transaction or financial decision.

Your account and acceptable use

You are responsible for providing accurate information, safeguarding secure dashboard links, and activity performed through them. Tell us promptly if you believe a link or account has been compromised.

You may not:

• Use CurbScoop unlawfully or to violate another person’s privacy or rights.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass access controls except where the law expressly permits it.
• Resell, republish, or systematically extract CurbScoop data or use it to build a competing database without written permission.
• Misrepresent your identity or submit information you are not authorized to use.

Free preview, trial, and subscriptions

The free preview currently includes one watched property and limited dashboard, comparison, and alert features. We may change free limits with reasonable notice.

Eligible new owners who select Plus during onboarding receive a 7-day free trial. A card is required at Stripe Checkout, but the selected subscription price is not charged during the trial. At the end of the trial, Stripe automatically charges the payment method for the selected monthly or annual plan unless you cancel first. Monthly plans renew monthly; annual plans renew annually. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.

Current prices are $9.99 per month or $99 per year. We may change future prices, but a change to your recurring price will take effect only after advance notice required by law. Promotional eligibility may be limited, and one trial may be allowed per person or payment method.

Cancellation and billing

You can manage or cancel an active subscription at any time from CurbScoop Owner Settings using “Manage billing.” Cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Cancel before a trial ends to avoid the first charge. You can also contact alerts@curbscoop.com if the self-service control is unavailable.

Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are nonrefundable and we do not provide credits for partial billing periods. Stripe processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Ownership and feedback

CurbScoop and its software, design, and original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment, without identifying you publicly unless you agree.

Availability and termination

We work to keep CurbScoop useful and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every property or market event will be covered. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, legal risk, nonpayment, or a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CurbScoop is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or noninfringement. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of property data or estimated value context.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CurbScoop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities, or property value. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid CurbScoop in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Governing law and changes

New York law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in New York County, New York will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

We may update these Terms as CurbScoop changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
